At Omega RE, we’ve always believed that representation matters.
From building Omega RE as a business that actively champions inclusion, to launching initiatives like Strong Female Lead, supporting women in industries where visibility and opportunity have historically been limited is something deeply important to us.
That’s why sponsoring Abbie Ferguson at Southampton FC Women felt like such a natural fit.
Recently, we had the opportunity to meet Abbie and the wider team, hear more about their journeys, and visit the impressive Staplewood training ground facilities. Seeing the level of dedication, professionalism, and commitment behind the scenes was incredibly inspiring.

One highlight of the visit was seeing the inflatable air dome training facility firsthand, particularly amusing given Abbie’s Scottish roots. Having recently completed acquisitions in Scotland ourselves, we couldn’t help but joke that the dome probably felt more like a sauna than a training ground to her.
What stood out most throughout the visit, however, was the energy around the team and the culture being built within women’s football.
Hearing teammates affectionately describe Abbie as the “5’1 Scottish firecracker” definitely raised a smile and honestly, it’s a label we can appreciate.
For us, this partnership goes beyond sponsorship. It’s about supporting individuals and organisations who are actively helping create greater visibility and opportunity for women in sport.

We’re incredibly proud to support Southampton FC Women, Abbie Ferguson, and Marieanne Spacey-Cale MBE’s ongoing mission to bring more women and girls into football and continue growing the women’s game.
At Omega RE, we believe meaningful change happens when businesses move beyond conversations and actively support the people and platforms driving progress forward.
This is one small part of that commitment and we’re excited to be part of the journey.
