Ross took A-levels at Barnstaple College before earning a degree in Urban Estate Management at Bristol Polytechnic (now UWE). He began his career at Goadsby & Harding before joining Pearsons two years later to complete his qualification as a Chartered Surveyor. He then spent 11 years at Nettleship Sawyer, where he served as a Director specialising in Acquisitions and Development.
After a brief move to Charles Higgins, focusing on Medical Centre development, Ross joined Southern Co-operative 13 years ago. Since then, he has been heavily involved in Acquisitions, securing 40 stores, including a well-known Squash Club, as well as Estates and Asset Management.
Fun fact: In his younger years, Ross played Dorset League football before transitioning to cycling and kayaking. A particular highlight was kayaking through The Needles and paddling from Hamworthy up the River Frome to The Old Granary.
